Moore is best known for his sharp insight of innovation and how it relates to technology. First published in 1991, his best selling book, “Crossing the Chasm: Marketing and Selling High-Tech Products to Mainstream Customers,” explains how technology innovations make the leap from appealing to elite, early technology adopters to everyday consumers. The book’s methodologies have been applied to business sectors far removed from the high-tech readers who first embraced it.
