Camstar's Enterprise Platform enables Processes Planning and ECO Management so that new product introduction and frequent product/process change are efficient and effective. Camstar's Platform provides structured, data-driven product and process design and modeling that tracks and manages R&D prototypes and Engineering runs, showing the impact and effectivity of changes, and giving results and correlation feedback. It also demonstrates process yield and production capacity capabilities.

Product and process modeling information can be acquired automatically from a PLM system, or populated directly into the Camstar Modeler application. Camstar provides a revision-controlled, auditable, structured definition of the product and associated manufacturing processes, including workflows with approved alternate paths, step-by-step operator procedures, parametric data collection with limits and out-of-spec actions, electronic signature requirements and detailed bills of materials. By enforcing adherence to processing rules, this model is the basis for the manufacturing audit trail.
