Scott Jones, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Research & Development

As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Research & Development, Scott Jones serves as the senior executive overseeing Camstar's software product development, quality assurance, and support functions. Jones has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, software engineering, project management and design of automation systems. He joined Camstar in June 2001 and served as Managing Director of Camstar’s consulting group prior to his promotion to CTO/Vice President in September 2002. Previously, Jones served as Director of the Manufacturing Services Division of Unifi Technology Group (UTG). In this role, he oversaw global deployments of Camstar’s manufacturing execution solutions.

Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University.
