Camstar is a leading provider of enterprise manufacturing execution and quality
systems (MES). Camstar’s InSite application manages, monitors,
and synchronizes manufacturing activities across globally distributed plants, and
integrates them in real-time with core business processes. Rapid to implement, it
provides the manufacturing control needed to help eliminate variability, scrap,
rework, paperwork errors and redundant checks. As a result, manufacturers
improve yields and product quality, shorten lead times and reach volumes quickly,
respond to changing demand, and reduce the cost of compliance. More than 100 leading companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Tyco Healthcare,
ZOLL, CIBA Vision, Zeiss, Kinetic Concepts, BIOTRONIK, IBM, Kodak, AMD, Philips,
Hitachi, SCHOTT, Amkor, ASAT, Renesas and Industeel rely on Camstar as a trusted
software partner.
| | |
|
Founded in 1984, Camstar developed some of the first manufacturing execution software
(MES) systems. Camstar introduced its Enterprise Manufacturing Execution Systems
solution, InSite, in 1998, creating the most flexible and robust solution available
for managing production across distributed production facilities, optimizing resource
allocation, rapidly responding to changing conditions, and integrating critical
manufacturing information real-time with the business. |
| |
In response to customer requests for a highly configurable solution that is also
rapid to deploy, Camstar enhanced InSite with vertical industry applications in
2005. Medical Device Suite
was the company’s first complete vertical
application, designed especially for the Medical Device and Diagnostics industry. It was followed by our second vertical application specifically designed
for
Semiconductor back-end test, assembly and packaging. |

Camstar’s Professional Services organization is renowned for its effective project
methodology and industry expertise, which lead to highly successful implementations. Camstar serves major international customers with the highest level of professionalism
and business acumen. |
