Camstar's InSite Provides Real-time Quality Management to Drive Down Manufacturing
Costs
CAMPBELL, Calif. (March 18, 2004) - Camstar, a leader

that Lexmark International, Inc. will deploy the Camstar solution across its enterprise
to manage high production volumes and further drive down the cost of manufacturing
for its printing solutions.
Lexmark selected Camstar to help create a real-time manufacturing environment capable
of handling millions of transactions each day. By integrating Camstar's InSiteTM
solution with automated high-speed vision bar code systems, Lexmark captures and
manages live production data from every process and transaction taking place throughout
its plants. Plant managers can quickly react to quality
issues as they happen, and
the increased information flow highlights abnormal situations and alerts managers
to potential problems with products or processes.
