Holiday Greetings from Our CEO
As we wrap up 2009 and head into the holidays, I’d like to offer my thanks to our customers, partners, and advocates in the industry. It has truly been a blessing for Camstar to have trusted relationships and strong support from all of you throughout the year. We hope we’ve been a support to you as well, with continued dedication to Advancing Product Quality to help you drive a healthier top line and bottom line, and win the loyalty of the customers you serve.

Our ongoing commitment to deliver measurable value to our customers is reflected in the heavy investment we continued to make in our technology throughout 2009, culminating in the recent delivery of Version 4.5 of the Camstar Enterprise Platform. In addition, we expanded our organization and global presence to broaden our customer service excellence worldwide – a guiding principle that has earned us your confidence. Our ability to stay the course and make these advancements has been enhanced and driven in partnership with many of you. As we pause at the turn of another year, I wanted to express our gratitude on behalf of all of Camstar’s employees.

Pacific Biosciences Selects Camstar to Enable Production of Revolutionary Biotechnology
Camstar is pleased to welcome new customer Pacific Biosciences, a leader in the development of a transformative Single Molecule Real Time (SMRT™) DNA sequencing platform. Pacific Biosciences will deploy Camstar Manufacturing™ , an application based on the Camstar Enterprise Platform, to enable its critical transition from product development to high-volume production, and to ensure consistent top product quality. As an industry innovator, Pacific Biosciences is growing rapidly, and the scalable manufacturing platform will enable the company to shorten time-to-volume and rapidly develop, roll out and enforce best practices across new production lines and plants.

Q-Cells Featured in November Photovoltaics International magazine
Dr. Andreas Kux and Dr. Jörg Müller of Camstar customer Q-Cells SE wrote an excellent technical paper titled “Increasing the efficiency of multicrystalline silicon solar cells.” It is featured as the cover story for the November 2009 print issue of Photovoltaics International.
